Pricing & Costs

How much does it cost to place an ad?

Listings are £9.99 each, and are active for 28 days. The price of listings are subject to change.

How long are listings active?

Listings remain active for 28 days once published. The active period begins after approval and does not include any time the listing spends in the 'pending' state.

Do your listing prices include VAT?

We are not currently VAT registered.

Do you charge for additional images?

No! Unlike similar sites, we don't charge for additional images. Each listing supports up to 18 images.

Managing Listings

How do I boost my listing?

Currently, it's free to boost a listing. To do so, click on 'Boost' next to the listing in the Manage Listings section of your account. Listings can only be boosted once every 24 hours.

Do you support Markdown in listings?

Yes, we support a subset of Markdown in listing descriptions. Using markdown gives you greater control over the formatting of your listing.

Unordered lists
Tables
Block quotes

You can learn more about the basic Markdown syntax on the Markdown Guide website. You can also use a tool such as Markdown Live Preview to preview listing content before you submit it.

What's a postcode sector?

A postcode sector is a subset of a postcode. For example, given the postcode "SW1A 1AA", the postcode sector would be "SW1A 1". We include your postcode sector in your listing to give potential buyers an idea of your location.

How do I report a listing?

If you need to report a listing, please send us a brief explanation, along with a link to the listing via email. We'll investigate the listing and take appropriate action.

How do I change my email address?

To change your email address, please contact support.

Do you offer business/dealership accounts?

Dealership accounts are available at Moving Manes' discretion to registered limited companies in the UK. These accounts offer benefits such as a dedicated business page and subscription plans. For more information, see our business plans page.

Do you offer an affiliate programme?

We offer an affiliate programme, where you can earn commission by referring new customers to us. We're always keen to work with reputable and high-quality athletes and influencers. To find out more, please contact support - including some information about yourself and your audience.

Are you associated with any horsebox/trailer businesses?

We are not associated with any horsebox or trailer businesses. We are an independent platform without any affiliations. Moving Manes is the operating name of Data Forage Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

Do you plan to introduce new features?

Since launching in late November 2024, we've continually introduced new features and functionality, and we don't plan on stopping! Whilst we don't have a timescale, we've already got some new features on our radar. If you have a request, let us know.
